Alyssa MacNeil serves as the ASID New England Chapter’s Student Representative. She is a sophomore in the Interior Architecture and Design program at UMass Dartmouth, where she is also an active member of ASID and currently holds the role of Communications Chair for the student chapter.
Alyssa’s academic experience includes coursework in interior design fundamentals, residential design, construction documents, materials and textiles, sustainable office design, lighting, and building codes. She is proficient in industry‑standard software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Procreate, and Canva.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Alyssa is involved in campus leadership and athletics. She is a member of the UMass Dartmouth Rugby Club and brings strong leadership experience from serving as captain of her varsity field hockey team for two seasons. As Student Representative, Alyssa is enthusiastic about strengthening connections among students, encouraging engagement across design programs, and contributing student perspectives to the chapter’s initiatives.
