Wyatt Carlton Named Student Representative of ASID New England Chapter as of October 1, 2025

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New England Chapter is pleased to announce the appointment of Wyatt Carlton as the FY26 student representative to the board. He'll assume the one-year term on October 1, 2025 effective immediately. Elaine Atha immediately precedes Wyatt in the role, with her term ending September 30, 2025.

Wyatt Carlton is a dedicated interior architecture and design student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, with a strong passion for connecting students to the design industry. 

Wyatt brings a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience to the role. He has earned recognition as first place in the 2024 IES Boston Student Scholarship Design Competition and has consistently made the Dean’s List.
 

His academic journey includes a study abroad program in Florence, Italy, and coursework in lighting, residential, commercial, and hospitality design. Professionally, he has worked as a design and install technician at Sound Mask Solutions and as a cabinet assembler at Ipswich Cabinetry.
 

Wyatt is eager to make ASID more accessible and inspiring for students, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping the future of interior design. We are thrilled to welcome Wyatt to the chapter board on October 1st.
