ASID NE x Room & Board CEU Event and Holiday Party

Join us for an enjoyable evening full of celebration and learning at the 2025 Holiday Party hosted by Room & Board and ASID New England. This festive event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow design professionals, enjoy delicious food and drinks, gain CEU credits, and immerse yourself in the holiday spirit.

 

Event Highlights:

  • Holiday Party: Mingle with colleagues and friends in a beautifully decorated showroom, featuring Room & Board's latest collections. Enjoy a variety of appetizers, cocktails, and music to set the festive mood.
  • CEU Opportunity: Earn last-minute CEU credits with an engaging presentation on "The Financial, Social & Environmental Benefits of U.S. Furniture Manufacturing." This informative session educates participants on domestic furniture manufacturing benefits and the value to both specifiers and end-users. It discusses the history of domestic versus import manufacturing, and what it means to be American Made.
  • Giving Back: In the spirit of the season, we are proud to partner with Community Servings as our donation partner. Community Servings is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious, medically tailored meals to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. We encourage attendees to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to support this worthy cause.

Title: The Financial, Social & Environmental Benefits of U.S. Furniture Manufacturing

Description: This course educates participants on domestic furniture manufacturing benefits and the value to both specifiers and end-users. It discusses the history of domestic versus import manufacturing, and what it means to be American Made. The course highlights the financial benefits, positive social impacts and environmental implications of domestic manufacturing, including sustainability, that can impact our planet, people and spaces, where we work, live and play.

  • Overview of the history of domestic versus import furniture manufacturing and what Made in America means.
  • Understand the financial benefits and the value of products made domestically.
  • Discover the positive social impact U.S. manufacturing has on craftspeople and communities.
