“All About Leather” is an hour-long IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Education Council) approved CEU on leather production, understanding what makes a high quality hide and how to use leather to its full advantage. Students will develop an appreciation of the natural characteristics of leather, including patina, grain structure and breathability and be introduced to some of the diverse, modern uses of this natural material.

Learning Objectives: 

● Learn how leather is produced
● Develop an appreciation for the natural qualities of leather – patina, grain structure, breathability
● Understand which factors create a better hide
● Understand the differences between leather types and how to use them to your benefit

Lunch & learn programs include a CEU presentation, networking time, and a light lunch.
